With more than three decades of practice, Dr. Prabha Unadkat (MBBS, MD) is a pioneer in audiology and hearing care. Her transition to audiology stemmed from her passion for making a difference in the lives of people with hearing loss.
Arguably, one of her landmark contributions is the promotion of the integration of deaf children into mainstream schools and universities. She is regularly invited to speak at national and international audiology conferences across the Asia Pacific and Africa, where she is recognised as a key opinion leader.
What makes Dr. Prabha unique is her very personal rapport with every patient and family. Dr. Prabha’s philosophy about audiology is that it is not about hearing devices alone but about holistic care, dignity, and empowerment for people.
Mr. Taranbir Singh Kochar (M.Sc. Audiology) is the Head of Audiology at QHC, Mumbai, and a globally respected figure in the field of hearing sciences.
